FLIGHT TRAINING INFORMATION
All SRAC members and their guests
are permitted to fly at the Snohomish Model Flying Field after receiving
instruction and certification from a SRAC instructor. Flight training is available Saturday mornings on a first come
first served basis and other days of the week as arranged with a qualified
instructor. Tom Reid, chief
instructor, coordinates the assignment of instructors. If you are interested in any
aspect of the SRAC flight training program please contact Tom. reidinst@msn.com
SRAC Pilot Qualification Test
Plane is put slightly out of trim by
instructor
1.
Takeoff and retrim, proceed with test when ready
2.
Perform 1 loop, exit in same direction as entered
3.
Execute one figure eight
4.
During flight stall aircraft and recover from level flight
5.
Complete two touch and go landings on runway
6.
Land airplane on runway
